The Best Time to Plant a Tree

There are a few big announcements I have been so excited to share with you! Here's the first:

Since day one it has been part of my business plan to find ways to give back. I kept thinking I needed to make more, I needed to be bigger as a business before I could do anything that would actually make an impact and then someone said, “If not now, then when?” I started doing some research trying to find a partnership that would allow even the smallest of donation to make a difference and I found that with One Tree Planted and there One for One program.

One Tree Planted is a non-profit organization on a mission to create a world full of trees. They work with reforestation organizations around the world that need financial support to help them get more trees in the ground. Most of their projects help with restoration from forest fires and floods, as well as creating jobs, building communities, and protecting habitat for biodiversity.

Here are some facts:

· One Tree Planted was started in 2014 by father and nature lover Matt Hill

· Trees have been planted in North America, South America, Asia, and Africa

· This spring they have already planted close to 300,000 trees in North America alone

It has been proven spending time in nature helps to reduce stress and anxiety but the forest does much more than that….being among the trees I truly feel grounded and connected to everything around me. In the forest, I never feel alone and I am over the moon to be able to do my small part to help keep the forest alive.
